IKEA started selling furniture for gamers in Russia

The Swedish company IKEA has announced the sale of special furniture for gamers, which it has developed in conjunction with the gaming brand ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG). Buyers will be offered tables, armchairs and bedside tables – the price for the sets reaches 30,000 rubles. In addition, IKEA stores will present accessories for gamers, including mouse pads and headphone stands.

The price of gaming chairs in Russian chain stores varies from 8999 to 11,999 rubles, tables – from 10,999 to 16,999 rubles. Sets of tables and chairs can be purchased at prices ranging from 19,998 to 28,498 rubles.

The line of goods for gamers, according to the portal 3dnews, includes about 30 accessories, including mouse pads, wire holders, headphone stands and posters.

“We worked in constant collaboration with ROG and met with professional and successful gamers. We saw the need for ergonomic chairs that would be comfortable to sit on for hours at a time, as well as comfortable furniture for storing all the hardware and special accessories that would facilitate more precise movements. In addition, we have developed solutions that allow you to eat and drink accurately and safely without leaving your computer, ”said Sofia Viktorsson, one of the developers of gaming products.

According to Business Insider, the company's Chinese stores have previously started selling special furniture.

Earlier, “Secret” wrote that IKEA has developed a wireless charger Sjomarke – a small device worth $ 40 is attached under the table top, and you can charge gadgets simply by leaving them on the table surface. The manufacturer promised that charging is suitable for most smartphones, but warned that the devices will charge at a low speed.
