The author of the YouTube channel Pefect Vision has published a video demonstrating a forest map made on the Unreal Engine 5. It is with its help that the games of the future will be made.
Pefect Vision revealed the concept of Far Cry 6 graphics. The author clarified that these are not real game graphics. The video was inspired by the games Far Cry and Crysis. While this is an enthusiast's product, it can provide an idea of what games will look like in the future.
It all looks very realistic. The author obviously used really high resolution textures. Also, attention is drawn to the peculiarities of the lighting of the scenes.
Unreal Engine 5 was officially announced on May 13, 2020. Then Epic Games showed a demo in QuadHD resolution with a frame rate of 30 FPS on the PlayStation 5. The demo demonstrated the work of Lumen technology – dynamic global illumination.
