< p>Russian adviser to the UN in Geneva Boris Bondarev criticized the policy of degradation of the pro-Putin regime and decided to resign.

In particular, the Russian diplomat criticized the Russian Foreign Ministry and its head Sergei Lavrov. Bondarev noted that Lavrov is “a good example of how Russia's political system has degraded.”

This is stated in a resignation letter issued by the executive director of UN Watch, a human rights NGO and watchdog UN group Hill Neuer.

Also in the document, Russia's adviser to the UN in Geneva denounced Russia's military actions in Ukraine and said that he “has never been so ashamed of his country.” In addition, he also mentioned Russian threats to launch a nuclear strike and condemned such statements by Russia.

According to Hillel Neuer, at the UN called on all other Russian diplomats in the United Nations and around the world to follow the example of Bondarev and resign.

Recall, Putin fails to realize any stage of the war v. Ukraine. In all directions – in Donetsk, in Kharkov, in Kherson, in Transnistria – it is not possible to break through the corridor.
