“I didn’t expect such an attitude”: a Russian woman in Germany was not allowed on a plane because of her citizenship

by alex

The woman was informed about the ban on travel through Estonia for citizens of Russia.

The German airline Lufthansa denied the Russian woman a flight because of her citizenship. The woman was supposed to fly from Bremen via Frankfurt to Tallinn, and from there to get to Russia.

The Russian woman herself complained about this in the Estonia-Russia Telegram channel.

The Russian woman said that she lives in Germany and has a permanent residence permit. The woman said that she was at the Bremen airport, from where she was supposed to get by plane to Tallinn, and then go to Russia.

They do not put me on a Lufthansa plane and they say that all Russian citizens are prohibited from traveling through Estonia!Even with a permanent residence permit. Where can I call or write at this time in Estonia? It’s 2 hours before the plane, and now it’s 5 in the morning,” the citizen of the Russian Federation complained.

She added that Lufthansa employees said they were waiting for an email from Estonia, after which a decision would be made on admitting the woman to the flight .

Subsequently, the Russian woman said that she decided not to wait and returned to Frankfurt. The tourist will again try to get to Russia, but through Helsinki.

“I did not expect such an attitude at all from Lufthansa”, – commented the indignant Russian woman.

In the comments to the message of the tourist, other Russians began to share their life hacks on how to “deceive” European airlines and other structures, just not showing your passport:

Recall that the Estonian Ministry of Justice has prepared a bill that will limit the right to vote in local elections for residents with citizenship of Russia and Belarus.
