Hütter and Eberl will work together at Gladbach in the future
Football coach Adi Hütter has not anchored an exit clause in his three-year contract with his future club Borussia Mönchengladbach. This was confirmed by Gladbach's sports director Max Eberl, who loses his previous coach Marco Rose to Borussia Dortmund due to an exit clause and instead, thanks to an exit clause, lost Hütter from his next opponent, Eintracht Frankfurt.
“I'm already someone who says: exit clauses mean clarity. But of course I'm happy when my employees don't have a clause and when a coach is as clearly committed as Adi,” said Eberl on Thursday.
Eberl does not consider the moral discussion that has arisen to be appropriate. “You should be careful with convictions and accusations. We understand the fans and the disappointment, but you can discuss it objectively. No one is upset with players when they have a clause or leave their future open for a long time,” said the 47-year-old . “Nobody complained to us when Marco made use of his clause.
