Hungary fears an escalation due to the US permission to attack deep into the Russian Federation.
Hungary has decided to deploy air defense systems in areas of the country that are closer to the border with Ukraine.
This was ordered by Hungarian Defense Minister Kristof Szalay-Bobrovnicki, Telex reports.
According to him, Hungary is afraid that US permission to strike with American weapons deep into Russian territory could allegedly provoke Moscow. The politician decided to strengthen the eastern part of the country with air defense systems because the war in Ukraine “has reached an unprecedented scale and entered its most dangerous phase.”
Shalai-Bobrovnitsky recalled the approval by Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin of an updated nuclear doctrine that provides for an expansion of possible conditions for the use of nuclear weapons.
As reported, a few kilometers from the Kaliningrad region, Poland has deployed South Korean K2 tanks. The tanks arrived at a unit in the Polish city of Braniewo. They are known for their advanced technological solutions.
