Hungarian Foreign Minister: negotiations between the Russian Federation, the United States and NATO will contribute to security in Europe

Hungary is interested in the successful negotiations between Russia, the US and NATO, as this will give hope not only for mutual understanding between the parties, but also for security in Europe. Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Siyarto told about this, the quote is quoted by RIA Novosti.
We are very pleased with this fact (of negotiations between the parties), because if NATO and Russia talk to each other, there will be hope for some kind of mutual understanding. We consider security issues in Europe to be critically important, therefore everything that is designed to reduce tension in this regard serves our interests, ”the minister stressed.
Negotiations on security guarantees between Moscow, Washington and NATO will be held on January 10 in Geneva. The initiatives of the Russian Federation, which will be discussed during the meeting, are aimed at creating and legalizing a new system of agreements on security, said Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. This system should be based on the principle of the indivisibility of security and the rejection of attempts to achieve military superiority.
