Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto proposed holding peace talks between Russia and Ukraine in Budapest. He wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“Hungary wants peace. That is why we are working, that is why I am negotiating with representatives of the Russian and Ukrainian governments to start direct discussions in Budapest,” Szijjarto said.
Earlier, MP Yuriy Boyko, co-chairman of the Opposition Platform – For Life (OPPL) party, called for speedy negotiations with Russia. According to him, the Opposition Platform for Life will do everything possible to ensure that the meeting of the leaders of the two countries, Vladimir Zelensky and Vladimir Putin, takes place.
