Huawei has started selling smartphones without box chargers. The company decided to lower the prices of such goods, albeit only slightly.
The innovation has affected the models Huawei Mate X2, Huawei Mate 40, Huawei Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro. All of them began to be sold without complete chargers and at a price reduced by $ 30. However, these smartphones can only be bought in retail stores. They cannot be ordered on the official Huawei website yet.
The 66W charger also costs $ 30. According to the media, Huawei refused complete chargers not for the sake of profit, but because of the global shortage of microcircuits.
Apple was the first to exclude chargers from the boxes with smartphones. She attributed this decision to environmental concerns.
