In the central province of China, Henan, there was a devastating flood, which even killed people. Of course, things also suffered. But the owner of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro was lucky – his phone was in the water for three days and remained functional.
A video appeared on the Chinese social network Weibo, in which the user shows the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, which survived the flood. After the recovery procedure, this smartphone was able not only to turn on, but also to make calls normally. The user was left amazed by this.
Of course, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro is IP686 certified, but it doesn't guarantee that a smartphone will survive underwater for three days.
It is worth noting that Huawei has also tried to help those affected by the disaster. Since July 22, the company has provided customers in Henan province with a 50% discount on spare parts for damaged devices and free service.
