Huawei has introduced in Russia new children's tablets of the MatePad T series. They have advanced parental control settings and eye protection.
The tablets come in two flavors: the MatePad T 8 with an 8 “screen and the MatePad T 10 with a 9.7” screen. The set comes with a bright blue removable baby case and a stylus for drawing on the screen.
Both models have screens with a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels. The largest tablet weighs 450 grams, while the smaller one weighs 310 grams. The devices are equipped with 5100 mAh batteries. The tablets have a lock function that prevents it from being charged while it is on, which guarantees protection against accidents.
The devices have a “Children” mode, in which only a voice recorder, a camera, applications for drawing and playback of multimedia content are available. Also, tablets can advise the child to change position if he sits in one position for a long time.
It will be possible to pre-order new items from August 3. The MatePad T 8 costs 12,990 rubles, and the MatePad T 10 costs 14,990 rubles.
