Earlier, there was news that some third-party smartphone manufacturers have approached Huawei with a desire to use the proprietary operating system HarmonyOS. Now the Chinese company has confirmed that its OS can be made available to everyone.
A Huawei spokesman said that HarmonyOS was being developed not only as an Android replacement for Huawei smartphones due to US sanctions, but also as an alternative for other smartphone brands.
Most likely, other manufacturers will want to see how HarmonyOS works on real devices first. The release should happen soon. Then it cannot be ruled out that Huawei's proprietary operating system will appear on other smartphones.
Earlier, the network even published a video on which the Xiaomi device is running HarmonyOS. But it can be fake.
