President Volodymyr Zelensky, commenting on the US strikes on Iranian nuclear program facilities, praised the “decisiveness” of US President Donald Trump.

The head of state said this in his evening video address on June 22.

On Sunday, Zelensky heard reports on the situation in the Middle East after the American strikes on the Iranian regime's nuclear program facilities. He emphasized that the Iranian regime had helped Putin a lot. In particular, with the “Shaheds.”

“There are now more waves of 'shahids' in the Ukrainian sky. We all remember very well where Russia got such weapons from. Iranian decisions to help Russia brought our country and many other countries large-scale destruction, large-scale human losses. And this really must stop. And this really must not be reinforced by nuclear weapons,” the president said.

He stressed that there should be no proliferation of nuclear weapons in the modern world.

“It is important that there is American determination on this matter – the determination of President Trump. It is also necessary to emphasize that diplomacy must work. Work everywhere. In the Middle East, in the Gulf region, and here in Europe, in Ukraine. If Putin rejects all peace proposals, including American proposals, then it is not surprising that they are also rejected in Tehran for now,” Zelensky says.

The President called on the world to do everything possible to make dictatorial regimes feel “what the power of international solidarity is and the inadmissibility of any spread of terror.”

Let us recall that Donald Trump announced that on the night of June 22, the United States military attacked three nuclear facilities in Iran – in Fordow, Natan and Isfahan.
