Russia may transfer nuclear weapons technology to North Korea, noted Jonkook Hwang.
Russia may “pay off” North Korea with nuclear weapons for the participation of its military in the war against Ukraine technologies.
This was stated by the Permanent Representative of South Korea to the UN, Jonkook Hwang, speaking at the UN Security Council, Ukrinform reports.
“For the participation of its units, North Korea will expect a generous payment from Moscow. This could be both financial and military assistance. This could also include technologies related to nuclear weapons,” Hwang said.
According to him, North Korea, in theory, will soon become an “active participant” in Russia's war of conquest against Ukraine.
Hwang called on Russia to immediately withdraw all its troops from Ukraine and recalled that lasting peace in Ukraine is possible only in accordance with the UN Charter and international right.
Let us recall that South Korean intelligence reported details about which military personnel North Korea sent to the war against Ukraine and how they were transported to Russia.
