Men who look for Jews in airplane turbines, according to a political scientist, are rejected by the average Russian.
The anti-Jewish pogroms at Makhachkala airport in Dagestan, which occurred on the night of October 30, could become the impetus for more serious unrest in Russian society.
Russian political scientist Abbas Gallyamov told Channel 24 about this.
He noted that in a multinational state where there are interethnic contradictions, revolutions often arise there and a significant part of it takes place within the framework of interethnic conflicts.
According to the political scientist, many people in Russia, in particular in Moscow, did not like what happened in Makhachkala.
There, in his opinion, anti-emigrant sentiments are strengthening, and they are very quickly transforming against the nationality.
Abbas Gallyamov said that men looking for Jews in airplane turbines are repugnant to the average Russian. They don't want to be associated with the crowd that stormed the airport and caused chaos. Both Moscow and the Russian part of the country want to be further from this savagery.
“Caucasians also see that Russians despise them and, for example, do not rent out apartments in Moscow when they arrive there. They have a grudge, and now a crack has opened. Therefore, any weakening of the totalitarian regime always leads to an aggravation of all contradictions,” noted political scientist.
The accusation that the head of the Kremlin, Putin, and Russian propaganda are accusing the West (of immorality, debauchery, decay), is leveled by the Dagestanis against the Russians. They get used to the discourse that it is normal to blame someone.
“The Russian authorities themselves form these fault lines. When the regime begins to collapse and it becomes clear that there is no one to fear, then everything will go into disarray. This is how empires are destroyed and civil wars begin,” added Abbas Gallyamov.
Let us remind you that on the evening of October 29, up to 1.5 thousand enraged local Dagestanis seized the Makhachkala airport in search of Jews who allegedly flew in from Israel.
Ukraine, Israel and the world reacted to the events in Makhachkala. In particular, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky responded to anti-Israeli protests in Dagestan. He noted that this case is not isolated in the Russian Federation.
