Russia is plundering temporarily occupied territories. In particular, this year the occupying country can take out about 1.8 million tons of Ukrainian grain.
According to media reports, about a million tons of Ukrainian grain have already been transported through seaports in the temporarily occupied Crimea. This is evidenced by the documents at the disposal of journalists, as well as satellite images.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, about 20 ships loaded with grain have left the port of temporarily occupied Sevastopol. Most of them are sent to Russia and Syria.
According to media reports, about 40 more deliveries are planned by the end of 2022.
If Russia makes the planned exports, it could receive about $600 million from illegal exports at world prices this year, the report says.
Take note! By the way, one Kalibr cruise missile worth about $6.5 million.
Ukraine says the grain Russia stole is a quarter of the Ukrainian harvest.
Russia threatens to wreck the grain deal
Russia cynically threatens to disrupt the grain agreement. Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that the goal of the aggressor country is to slow down the export of Ukrainian food. Russia is deliberately provoking a food crisis.
The Ukrainian leader said that more than 150 ships are currently in line. Russia has created an artificial queue to deliberately delay the passage of ships.
According to Zelensky, Russia is delaying food exports to the following countries:
- Egypt;
- Tunisia ;
- Algeria;
- Morocco;
- Lebanon;
- Iraq;
- China;
- Bangladesh;
- Indonesia.
