12 patients were evacuated from the Kosovo central regional hospital in Ivano-Frankovsk region, where a fire broke out on the evening of 28 December.
The updated data was reported in the State Emergency Service of the region on December 29.
According to the information of rescuers, the patients were taken out of the premises by the hospital staff even before the arrival of fire and rescue units.
Fire in the ward of the intensive care unit of the four-story building of the Kosovo Central District Hospital took place on December 28 at 21.22.
The fire with an area of 55 sq. m was able to localize at 21.42, and localize – at 22.00.
At the site of the fire, rescuers found the bodies of two patients. Three patients from the neighboring ward were rescued by the State Emergency Service.
Nine pieces of equipment were brought in by 33 rescuers to extinguish the fire.
