He said that the requirement to wear masks is canceled on the street and indoors, including in public transport. But in hospitals and homes for the elderly, masks will still be required.

This decision was made because an immune barrier has been created in the city. Recently, there has been no increase in coronavirus cases. Lee believes that the restoration of “normal life” in Hong Kong will benefit Hong Kong's economy.
