In the city of Balta, Odessa region, a 42-year-old man beat his own mother to death. A 62-year-old woman with no signs of life was found at home by an acquaintance and reported this to the police.
According to the examination, the death was violent. The woman died of painful shock, cerebral hemorrhage and multiple fractures of the ribs.
According to the head of the Podolsk regional police department Vitaly Melnichenko, the police found that the woman was killed by a mentally ill son. Now the suspect is in a mental health facility. His sanity will be established by a forensic psychiatric examination.
