Start coach Jose Mourinho experienced the greatest disgrace of his career with his AS Roma. The 58-year-old Portuguese lost with the top Italian club at FK Bodö / Glimt from Norway 1: 6 (1: 2). The team from north of the Arctic Circle scored four times against fourth place in Serie A after the break alone. Mourinho had never conceded six goals with one of his teams in their 1,008 competitive games.
Union Berlin brings up the rear
In Group E, the duel between Feyenoord Rotterdam with Gernot Trauner and Union Berlin with Christopher Trimmel went 3-1 to the hosts. Alireza Jahanbakhsh gave Feyenoord the lead in the 11th minute. Taiwo Awoniyi managed to equalize with a header in the 35th minute, before Trimmel had brought the ball to the center after a Trauner header defense. Bryan Linssen (29th) and Luis Sinisterra (76th) fixed the success of the Dutch. Both Austrians played through. While Feyenoord leads Group E with seven points, Union is in last place with three points.
Stefan Schwab also managed an assist – the ex-Rapid captain prepared Andrija Zivkovic's 2-0 win in PAOK Saloniki's 2-1 away win against FC Copenhagen. Schwab was replaced in the 64th minute, Thomas Murg came on in the 83rd minute. With seven points from three games, PAOK is the table leader in Pool F.
FC Basel with goalkeeper Heinz Lindner is on the way to promotion in Group H. The Swiss defeated Omonia Nicosia 2-1 and are tied with Karabach Agdam (7 each) at the top. Nicosia and Kairat Almaty hold one point each.
