Marcel Hirscher with his dog Pumba
Marcel Hirscher and wife Laura shocked the fans with their surprising separation. After the love break, it's now about the dog Pumba.
“We part on good terms,” says Hirscher of the sudden separation. The family is still torn apart.
In addition to a two-year-old son and a one-year-old daughter, there is also a family dog, Pumba. Will the 70 kilo Newfoundland dog stay with Hirscher? The four-legged friend can be seen again and again with the ex-ski star on Instagram.
“We now ask to respect our privacy,” continues von Hirscher. Information on custody of children and dogs does not reach the public.
Separation after twelve years
Laura Hirscher, formerly Moisl, had accompanied and supported the former ski dominator throughout his career. It was not until October 2018 that the two parents had a son. They kept the name and birth of the second child a secret. Now it came to the separation after twelve years of relationship.
Birth of the daughter kept a secret
After retiring from active skiing in the summer of 2019, Hirscher initially withdrew from the public. The young dad concentrated on his family and the new freedoms he had gained and ruled out a comeback several times. In the past few months, he has been giving regular insights into his new life on his social media channels.
With a broken leg in the hospital
The ski retiree shared pictures and videos of touring, daring ski descents in the field or motorcycle excursions. Most recently, he lived out his love for two-wheelers at an enduro rally. For Annaberg, however, it ended this week in the hospital. The 32-year-old broke in a fall.
After he has healed his broken leg, Hirscher wants to start again: “I definitely feel a certain drive to create and leave something behind. That's why it's always fun to read or to hear that I'm in the ski pension. I'm more active and more versatile than ever – that feels absolutely good, “said the 32-year-old at sponsor Audi.
