Marcel Hirscher
Intense days for Marcel Hirscher! The ÖSV icon recently unveiled its own ski brand, but he has other projects for the future.
During an appearance on the ORF program “Sport am Sonntag”, the Salzburg native chatted up close and personal. He reported that he had been observing possible World Cup athletes for his ski brand “Van Deer” for a year. The first thing to do now is to really get the project going. “Now there is so much to do with the skis that the day should often have more than 24 hours,” explains the record World Cup winner.
Over 1,000 euros! That is how expensive the Hirscher ski is

But that doesn't stop Hirscher from rolling out new projects off the slopes as well. For example, a comeback on the motorcycle. Specifically, he wants to compete in the “Red Bull Romaniacs” enduro race again. “I'll be back next year,” he clarifies.
Wait a minute, Hirscher and Enduro – there was something. A serious injury, to be precise. The last time he started, Hirscher fell and broke his leg and had to take a compulsory break for weeks. “I don't regret it for a second,” grins Hirscher nonetheless. “It was a really cool experience. I don't want to hurt myself, but it's not as drama as it was when I was active. It doesn't matter whether I'm missing a few weeks longer.”
What is certain is that Hirscher is also very busy in the ski pension. “It really hasn't been a single day until now that I've thought, wow, I'm bored,” he reports.
