Looters have become more active in Poland, profiting from flood victims. They robbed rescuers and organized a fake collection for alleged victims of bad weather.
This is reported by the Polish publication onet.pl.
Polish police stated that 1,000 zlotys and a camera with a lens worth 20,000 zlotys were stolen from the WOPR rescuers' room in the dormitory of the Wroclaw University of Economics.
The looters also organized 34 fake collections for flood victims. In addition, 21 social media accounts were found from which disinformation was spread.
