High school dropout boy became world's youngest restaurateur at age 11

12-year-old boy from London Omari McQueen became the youngest restaurateur in the world and even published a cookbook, writes The Mirror.

The boy found it difficult to study at school due to dyslexia – a violation of the ability to master the skills of reading and writing. Over time, the situation only became more difficult, so Omari's father took Omari from the fifth grade for home schooling. The teachers at the school said that the boy would not be able to pass the midterm exams.

However, from early childhood, Omari had a hobby: he really liked to cook. The boy helped his parents in the kitchen, because his mother was sick, and his father worked hard. Later, the child began to cook for the family every day. His father began to buy Omari cookbooks, and later began to study with him for admission to the culinary college.

Omari created a YouTube channel, thanks to which he gained popularity on the web. The teenager has two idols – chef Gordon Ramsay and actor Chadwick Boseman, who taught him not to give up in the most difficult situations.

At the age of 11, the Briton asked the director of a London food mall to sponsor his restaurant. Omari was allowed to open his own establishment for a week and not pay rent – so the teenager became the youngest restaurateur in the world. In his restaurant, the young chef prepared vegetarian Caribbean dishes.

Last March, Omari wrote his first cookbook, and he has no plans to dwell on it. According to a teenager, anyone can learn to cook. Omari also hosts his culinary TV show on CBBC. He dreams of earning a lot of money and donating it to help children who have to take care of sick or disabled parents.

Earlier, the Japanese had a new hero – a ten-year-old boy Kiuta, who is tipped to be the great sumo champion. For the sake of his future son, his father moved him to Tokyo to one of the best sumo schools.
