Champions League Ball
European club football starts the new season. This means that the new TV rights period also takes effect. Which game can be seen where? An overview.
The Champions League opens the European Cup season on Tuesday. Tuesdays and Wednesdays the first day of the “premier class” is on the program. Austria's series champion Red Bull Salzburg will be visiting the Spanish top team Seville on Tuesday (6.45 p.m.).
All matches of the Champions League can be received live on “Sky”. So did the hit Barcelona against Bayern Munich on Tuesday evening (9 p.m.).
Top European football is celebrating a comeback in Austria with “Servus TV”. The Salzburg broadcaster secured the top game on Wednesday. Inter Milan and Real Madrid will kick off (Wednesday, 9 p.m.). All three home games of the Mozartstadters against Seville, Lille and Wolfsburg take place on a Wednesday and can therefore be seen live on the Salzburg broadcaster.
“Sky” also won the Europa League (with Rapid and Sturm Graz) and the newly introduced Europa Conference League (with LASK). The pay-TV channel broadcasts all games of the two club competitions live.
But here, too, there are encounters on free TV. “Servus TV”, but also “ORF” have secured a rights package, broadcast one game per round live. The Salzburg broadcaster has the right to vote, and Sturm Graz will broadcast on AS Monaco on Thursday (9 p.m.). While the match between Rapid Wien and KRC Genk (6.45 p.m.) can be seen on the public TV broadcaster.
LASK's appearance at the start of the Conference League group phase at HJK Helsinki will be on Thursday (6.45pm) exclusively on “Sky”.
