Helicopter crashes in Greece due to strong winds: there are casualties

In Greece, a helicopter that was extinguishing a forest fire crashed into the sea while taking on water due to strong winds and waves near island of Samos.

There were four people on board, two died.

Rescuers pulled a Moldavian engineer out of the water, who reported big waves and strong sea currents. According to the victim, a strong gust of wind hit the helicopter while taking on water, causing it to overturn and fall into the water.

Rescuers found another victim a few hours later.
