The Carpathian rescuers deployed mobile heating points due to a significant drop in temperature and snowfalls.
GSChS provided a list of places with warm tents.
In particular, such points Carpathian rescuers deployed heating:
- on the Yablunytsky pass of the Nadvornyansky region,
- the Bukovetsky pass of the Kosivsky region,
- the Krivopolsky pass of the Verkhovinsky region,
< li> Vyshkovsky pass of Kalush district.
In addition to warm tents, where everyone in need can warm up and drink hot tea, relax and recharge their mobile phones, these heating points also have off-road vehicles – four-wheel drive vehicles Ural, GAZ-66 and ZIL-131, to provide assistance to drivers if necessary.
To monitor the situation in case of difficult weather conditions work mobile-operational groups of the State Service for Emergency Situations of Ukraine in the region.
In total, four units of equipment and 12 personnel are involved to provide assistance to the population in heating points on the Carpathian passes.
Experts of the department hydrological forecasts of the Ukrhydrometeorological Center assessed the situation of a possible avalanche in the highlands of the Ukrainian Carpathians.
