A 73-year-old woman tragically died in the Kharkiv region. She was hacked to death by a young, previously convicted neighbor, whom the pensioner gave shelter, gave work and fed.
The incident took place in the village of Geneevka, Zmiinsky district. 73-year-old Polina Nikolaevna was known and respected by everyone around her.
Almost all her life the woman worked as a cook at school: in the village only good things are said about her.
– We constantly sat on the bench with her, loved to talk, played with the girls. She constantly treated us to sweets, – says schoolgirl Anya.
The neighbors are convinced that it was kindness that ruined the friendly pensioner. This summer, a young fellow villager began to visit her.
32-year-old Vladimir lived in an abandoned house next door. I managed to serve time in prison, did not work anywhere and was interrupted by temporary jobs.
& # 8212; He weeded her garden there, planted potatoes together. She often treated him to borscht. Well, he has no parents, it wandered around all the time, looking for where to eat. He is on trial, spent six years in prison, – said the neighbor of the deceased, Alexander.
Subsequently, it turns out that on the evening before the murder Vladimir secretly made his way into the summer kitchen, spent the night, and when the hostess came in in the morning & # 8212; attacked her with an ax.
When Polina Nikolaevna stopped communicating with her grandchildren, her family turned to a neighbor and asked to visit the old woman. The gate was closed, no one answered the exclamations.
The first to know the truth about why Polina Nikolayevna disappeared was her grandson. The man entered the house first and I saw my grandmother in a pool of my own blood. A bloody ax lay next to her.
The killer was arrested
While the frightened neighbors were discussing the reprisal against the pensioner, her killer managed to escape from the village. The police of neighboring regions were involved in the search for a 32-year-old man.
