Bus station drivers who noticed the theft contacted the police.
In Bremen, Germany, a 15-year-old boy with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) stole a bus and drove along the route, picking up passengers.
This is discussed in mobiliteit.nl.
The teenager was driving the bus, picking up citizens at stops, and no one guessed that the driver was not a driver with the appropriate license.
Later, witnesses and passengers told the police that the bus was on its route without incident. During the trip, the passengers were not injured, but the bus received some damage.
After the drivers of the bus depot contacted the police, the 15-year-old driver was detained and handed over to his father.
According to investigators, the boy did not hide during the conversation that he wanted “to understand what drivers experience behind the wheel of such vehicles.”
The police did not say whether the boy's parents will be punished.
Let's add that autism spectrum disorders (autism) began to be discussed only at the beginning of the 20th century. Due to the specificity of the symptoms, various “oddities” accompanying autism were attributed to personality traits.
Meanwhile, in Ukraine, a 12-year-old motorcyclist caused an accident. The schoolboy was injured.
