16-year-old Infiniti driver Nikolai Kharkov, suspected of a fatal accident in Kharkiv, has been extended in custody.
According to the decision of the judge of the Chervonozavodsky district Court, the minor suspect will stay in jail for the next 60 days without the right to bail. Thus, 16-year-old Nikolay Kharkov was arrested until March 19.
During the court session, journalists noticed the somewhat dismissive behavior of the teenager. In particular, he smiled in the face of the daughter of the deceased in an accident.
His lawyer stood up for Nikolai Kharkov and asked him not to “provoke” her client. The 16-year-old himself, answering the questions of the daughter of the deceased 58-year-old man, replied: It is necessary to drive a little less.
Recall that the pre-trial investigation into the case of a resonant road accident in Kharkiv ended on December 24.
The investigation proved the guilt of Nikolai Kharkov, but the examination of the blood of the deceased Chevrolet driver Igor Nosov proved that the man was intoxicated.
