Parents charged with child abuse.
In the United States, a couple was arrested for forcing their adopted child to live in a garage in a box. This went on for five years.
Complex reports.
Timothy and Tracey Ferriter placed a 14-year-old in a 2.5 by 2.5 meter box in which the child lived for more than five years. Instead of a toilet, he used a bucket, received leftovers from a family dinner, and was constantly under surveillance camera.
The police said that the boy was kept in the castle after school, forbidden to go outside and enter the house. It is not known how this story would have ended, but the schoolboy miraculously managed to hide from his adoptive parents.
Tracy herself called the police and reported that her son had disappeared. The officers who arrived examined the house, and then drew attention to the building in which the fugitive was located. The woman did not want to let them into the house, but eventually changed her mind after hearing that she was creating an obstacle to the investigation.
Tracy and Timothy were arrested and charged with child abuse.
Recall that in France, a judicial investigation has begun on charges of raping a soldier and guarding the Champs Elysees, the residence of the country's president in Paris.
