At the end of last year, a man's body was found on the balcony of a high-rise building in Bila Tserkva, Kiev region. The local police suspect a 34-year-old native of the Luhansk region of committing a serious crime, who already had problems with the law.
His identity was established after interviewing witnesses and working out possible versions of the crime.
According to investigators, during a party with alcoholic drinks, which was also attended by a woman, the suspect beat his comrade to death, and he hid the body on the balcony.
A quarrel arose between the men, during which the guest attacked the host with fists. He beat the victim with his hands and feet in the face and torso. The man soon died from the beatings.
The attacker was detained, he was declared suspicious under Part 2 of Art. 121 UKU – intentional grievous bodily harm. The detainee faces punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of seven to ten years.
The court chose him a preventive measure in the form of arrest.
