A 39-year-old man was arrested in the Cherkasy region, suspected of murdering his ex. She was 15 years younger than her roommate.
The incident took place in the village of Novy Gorod, Umansky District. Neighbors claim that the couple had already broken off their relationship, but that evening the man decided to visit his ex.
As a result of the conflict, the 24-year-old girl was seriously stabbed. She managed to break out into the street and call the neighbors for help.
While the police detained the man, the doctors tried to save the girl's life. Bloodied she was hospitalized in the intensive care unit, but after all attempts the doctors stated the death of the patient.
During the examination of the house, the investigative-operational group revealed enough evidence to initiate criminal proceedings under Part 2 Art. 121 (Intentional grievous bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
It turned out that the suspect was already in prison, and as of December we will be convicted of causing bodily harm.
He was announced about suspicion, and the court will soon choose a preventive measure. The 39-year-old man faces seven to ten years in prison for the murder of his former partner.
