The head of a district in one of the regions of Russia died while collecting firewood for the invaders. This happened on Friday, July 5.

So, the acting head of the Kursk region Sergei Belykh died. This was reported in the Russian publication, informs Channel 24.

The acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexey Smirnov, was the first to report the death of an official.

According to him, this happened as a result of the fall of a felled tree. After the incident, the man was rushed to a local hospital. However, he had serious injuries. As a result of this, the man died.

The publication noted that Belykh had previously helped cut wood for the needs of participants in the Russian war against Ukraine.

They also added that the deceased Sergei Belykh was 64 years old.
