The English Football Association knows no mercy. The Austrian is asked to pay properly.
Southampton coach Ralph Hasenhüttl was sentenced on Friday by the English Football Association (FA) to a fine of 20,000 pounds (23,720 euros). The Styrian had criticized the video referee Mike Dean on October 2nd in the 1: 3 defeat of the “Saints” against Chelsea in connection with the exclusion of his player James Ward-Prowse.
The Styrian had said in full: “I knew that if Mike Dean was the VAR, the referee would look at the matter again.” In a BBC radio interview he also added: “I always have a bit of a problem when Mike Dean is the VAR because we have not had good experiences with him, to be honest.”
