Hasenhüttl drew with Southampton against Leicester
With Southampton, coach Ralph Hasenhüttl has achieved an important point in the fight to remain in the English Premier League. The “Saints” scored 1-1 against Leicester City on Friday in their own stadium and are thus ten points ahead of the first relegation zone with five laps to go. Leicester is still third in the table.
Southampton took the lead despite an early red card for Yannick Vestergaard (10th) with a penalty from James Ward-Prowse (61st). The guests, for whom Christian Fuchs was not in the squad, only managed to equalize through Jonny Evans (68th).
