“At the moment he is practically blind and needs surgery and injections. He also has serious dental problems and has planned certain procedures to preserve his teeth. I think he has lost about four teeth at the moment, ”said one of the former tycoon’s lawyers, Norman Effman.
Harvey Weinstein was sentenced to 23 years in prison in March 2020. He was found guilty of third degree rape and first degree sex inducement. He did not admit his guilt.
The accusations against the producer were first heard at the end of 2017 from the pages of The New York Times. The publication wrote about the many young actresses and subordinates of the producer who have suffered over the past 30 years. Later, more than 80 women shared their relationship stories with Weinstein, including Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow and Salma Hayek. On May 29, Weinstein, already serving a sentence, was accused of raping a minor and three other victims.
