On Sunday, July 6, a light aircraft AN-2 “made a hard landing” in the Russian Transbaikal region. On board were 10 parachutists and a crew member.
This was reported by propaganda media, 24 Kanal reports. The incident occurred in the Chita region at about 09:30 local time.
What is known about the “hard landing”
The plane of the Chita aviation and sports club DOSAAF (Voluntary Society for Assistance to the Army, Aviation and Navy) of Russia landed in the area of the SNT “Topograph” 16 minutes after takeoff.
There are 9 known injured people , there were no casualties. According to the governor of Zabaikalsky Krai, 3 people are in serious condition, but there is no threat to life.

The East Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office named an alleged engine malfunction as the preliminary cause of the “hard landing”, but the An-2 did not catch fire.
There were 37 people and 12 pieces of equipment working at the scene of the incident, and law enforcement officers organized an inspection of compliance with flight safety legislation.
Let us recall that recently during a training flight in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia a Su-34 fighter-bomber crashed. It fell near the village of Veletma, approximately 10 kilometers from the Savasleyka military airfield, where MiG-31 fighters are based. This is the third such disaster in a year.
