A 59-year-old man was arrested in Kharkiv, who is suspected of beating his 73-year-old neighbor to death with a hammer.

– A 59-year-old man came to an elderly woman with a hammer and inflicted about 10 blows to her in the head, from which she died on the spot. The Kharkiv resident was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, – the message says.
The prosecutor's office added that the issue of informing the detainee about the suspicion, as well as the choice of a preventive measure, is now being decided.
