The message indicates that the government team for responding to computer emergency events in Ukraine CERT-UA, operating under the State Special Communications Service, discovered the fact that the UAC-0050 group was sending dangerous emails allegedly on behalf of government agencies of Ukraine.
Employees received emails with subjects related to “legal claims” and “debts” and attachments in the form of attached password-protected RAR archives.
The target of the attack, in addition to Ukrainian users, was the government authorities of Poland.
When opening such an archive and running executable files, the computer may be affected by RemcosRAT or MeduzaStealer malware.
