The Central Bank of Russia has been subjected to a large-scale cyberattack. It is either operating with significant interruptions or is completely unavailable to Russians. They said that “the intensity of the attack is growing.”

As it became known, it is this Russian bank that is financially supporting Russia's war against Ukraine. Around 11:00 local time, its resources are working with significant interruptions or are not available to users at all. The financial institution itself acknowledges the fact of a cyberattack and notes that “the intensity of the attack is growing.”
In addition, Russian users cannot use the online services of Zenit Bank and Gazprombank. The situation is complicated by the lack of stable Internet, since the largest telecommunications providers in the Russian Federation are also subject to systematic cyberattacks. In particular, the attack is being carried out on the MTS provider, whose users have not been able to fully use the services for three days already.
This operation is ongoing.
