Erling Haaland

Dortmund prevailed 3-2 in Friday's game against Hoffenheim. A goal by ÖFB legionnaire Baumgartner was not enough for TSG.

Total madness in Dortmund! 2: 2 equalizer in the 90th minute, then Erling Haaland came and still balanced the 3-2 victory for his BVB in the 93rd minute!

Dortmund fought a spectacular 3-2 home win against Hoffenheim at the start of the third round of the Bundesliga. ÖFB legionnaire Christoph Baumgartner met 1: 1 in the Signal-Iduna-Park in front of 25,000 spectators, the two 18-year-old BVB young stars Giovanni Reyna and Jude Bellingham took the lead. In stoppage time it got wild – and it came to a duel between the two ex-Salzburg strikers! First Munas Dabbur dusted off to equalize 2-2 (91st), then Haaland let his black-yellows cheer with his will to win 3-2 (93rd).

The Hoffenheim team started with the knives between their teeth, the two ÖFB legionnaires Christoph Baumgartner (1st) and Stefan Posch (7th) received early yellow cards. Baumgartner checked Axel Witsel away with his elbow, Posch straddled Giovanni Reyna in midfield.

The third Hoffenheim Austrian Florian Grillitsch was missing from the squad, he is also repeatedly associated with a move to Italy.

TSG not only provided the first hard inserts, but also for the first time in the third minute for danger: Top striker Andrej Kramaric headed the ball to the crossbar.

After the wild initial phase, Hoffenheim concentrated on the defensive, Dortmund didn't really like that. The BVB sat down in half of the Sinsheimer, but found it difficult to generate opportunities.

What didn't work out in the first half happened four minutes after the restart. Reyna now fully deserved the lead for Dortmund. The 18-year-old withdrew from the edge of the penalty area and sank unsustainable to 1-0 (49th).

The black and yellow worked on the second goal, but after just under an hour they shouldn't have complained about the equalization. Goalie Gregor Kobel saved BVB after a counterattack against Kramaric.

Only a minute later, Hoffenheim really struck: ÖFB legionnaire Baumgartner was criminally left alone, the 21-year-old turned uncompromisingly into the far corner to 1: 1 (61st). It happened in quick succession, after a small defensive mistake Jude Bellingham was spot on in the 69th minute and finished with a wonderful volley to give Dortmund a 2-1 lead.

In the final phase, BVB pressed for a higher victory, but Haaland and Co. did not want to score another goal. Hoffenheim punished the ice cold, after a corner kick in the 90th minute, ex-Salzburg Munas Dabbur pushed the ball over the line to make it 2-2.

When Hoffenheim was already happy about the point, Haaland showed his elemental force, slamming the ball mercilessly into the Kreuzeck in the 93rd minute after being stabbed in the penalty area – an emotional 3-2 win for Dortmund!
