MOSCOW, June 14. / TASS /. The slow pace of vaccination against covid can lead to the intensification of the formation of modified strains of coronavirus. TASS was told about this by the director of the Center. Gamalei Alexander Gunzburg.

“You need to be vaccinated quickly, and better – all citizens who are in constant contact with each other. If some are vaccinated and some are not, this can lead to an intensification of the process of forming strains with altered properties,” the scientist said.

Previously, Deputy Director of the Center. Gamalei Denis Logunov reported that new specific strains of coronavirus could appear in Moscow. At the same time, he noted that not all strains of coronavirus are dangerous, but it is necessary to track all changes.
