The director of the Gamaleya Center, Alexander Gintsburg, asked the Russians not to call Santa Claus at home, but instead suggested that they themselves dress up as wizards and congratulate the children. Writes about this TASS.

“I would not invite Father Frost at this time, but if I were my parents, I would buy a beard and congratulate him, so as not to cancel and spoil the child’s holiday, but at the same time arrange it for myself,” the scientist said.

According to Gunzburg, one should also refuse to attend public events for children if parents are not sure of the complete safety of their child. In any case, he advises not to neglect personal protective equipment: masks or respirators.

“Some children are asymptomatic, so if the parents are sure that their child has good protective captions, then the child is protected. If the parents do not have information that the child has been ill or has a high level of antibodies, then it is better not to take the child [to events] at all, ”he said.
