More than 240 tanks will enter the military units of the Ground Forces in 2021, the Russian Defense Ministry said. Tanks T-72B3M, T-80BVM and T-90M “Proryv” will be delivered.
“As part of the execution of the state defense order, the fleet of tanks is renewed annually. This year, more than 240 modern and modernized tanks are supplied to the military units of the Ground Forces, ”the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
The agency notes that the enterprises of the military-industrial complex supply “modern samples of armored vehicles”, which have proven themselves “when used in various climatic zones.”
