Ukrainian specialist Roman Grigorchuk headed the Odessa football club Chernomorets. The appointment was announced by the club's press service on the official website.
The agreement with the 56-year-old coach is for three years. Near the coaching bridge of Odessa citizens, Grigorchuk will replace Yuri Moroz, who headed the sailors in the first half of the current season.
– I am very happy to return to Chernomorets dear to me, to beautiful Odessa and to my beloved, incredible fans. We have a lot of work ahead at the training camp, but I'm already looking forward to the resumption of the season and the first match at the home stadium, & # 8212; Grigorchuk said.
He added that together with the new coaching staff he will do everything so that next year the team's fans have more positive emotions.
Grigorchuk was already the head of Odessa club from 2010 to 2014. The last place of work of the Ukrainian specialist was Salihorsk Shakhtar, which he left this summer.
In the UPL standings, Chornomorets scored 14 points after 18 matches and occupies 13th place. They are three points short of the life-saving 12th place.
