Greece has changed the rules of entry for Russians
From June 30, for Russians to enter Greece, the changed rules begin to apply. This notice was issued by the Greek Civil Aviation Authority.
Now certificates of vaccination with Russian drugs will not be accepted, as well as certificates of the transferred coronavirus and the presence of antibodies. Now all Russian citizens over 12 years old arriving in Greece must, before entering the country, provide a certificate of a negative PCR test for COVID-19 with a validity of 72 hours or an express test, which is done a maximum of 48 hours before departure.
Also, at the airport in Greece, all tourists from Russia need to undergo free testing for coronavirus infection. Those who test positive will have a PCR smear and go to quarantine for ten days. If the virus is not confirmed in the tourist, he will continue his vacation. If the result is positive, then it remains in quarantine.
In addition, tourists traveling to Greece, no later than 24 hours before entry, need to fill out a form on the website, after which a QR code must be sent to his e-mail, which must be presented when boarding the plane.
Earlier, MIR 24 reported that the Turkish authorities had decided to suspend flights with a number of countries in connection with the spread of new strains of coronavirus. Thus, air traffic with India, Bangladesh, Brazil, Nepal, Sri Lanka and South Africa has been suspended from July 1 until further notice.
