Greece extended entry permit for 500 Russians per week

by alex

Greece has extended until November 8 an entry permit for up to 500 Russians a week if they have a negative PCR test for coronavirus and a hotel voucher or documents that identify their temporary residence in the country.

This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Civil Aviation Administration of Greece.

“It is reported that the directive on air transport for Russia (permanent residents) has been extended until November 8, 2020, which provides for entry only with a negative test result for COVID-19, taken by the PCR method no more than 72 hours before arrival, to the airports of Athens, Thessaloniki and Heraklion, with a maximum of 500 passengers per week, ”the message says.

It is noted that “in any case, permanent residents of Russia who have arrived in Greece will have to re-take random tests for COVID-19.”

It is also reported that all arriving passengers must fill out the electronic PLF (Passenger Locator Form), indicating their contact details in Greece.

In September, Dmitry Gorin, vice-president of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, in an interview with NSN, noted that some forecasts for tours to Greece could be made only after a decision was made to resume international flights.
