The well-known Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon appealed to the Belarusians not to go against the Ukrainians, but rather to surrender if Lukashenka pushes them to war.
Those who surrender can become a citizen of the EU, and, if desired, will receive weapons to fight the Lukashenka regime. Gordon stated this on the air of Ukraine 24.
“Taking this opportunity, I want to address the Belarusians, whom I love very much. This long-suffering people is in my heart. Dear Belarusians, as soon as your distraught leader leaves you to fight the Ukrainians, when you cross the border, immediately give up. Don't even visit us. Give up right away. You will be provided with a wonderful existence. Whoever wants to become EU citizens will be EU citizens. Whoever wants to fight against Lukashenka, we will give you weapons. Give up right away, don't go against the Ukrainians,” Dmitry Gordon said.
At the same time, he assured that those who come to Ukraine with a war will be destroyed.
“We are well armed, we have a huge amount of the latest Western weapons. We will kill anyone who comes to our territory with a war. Everyone. Therefore, let Lukashenka not even think about it. If only he does, we will attack him and those he sends from all directions. We have enough strength, we have enough determination, we have enough weapons. Our cause is just, and we will win,” Gordon emphasized.
