For 10 years, Google has been developing its own desktop operating system – Chrome OS. In our country, it is not very popular, since it is quite problematic to find laptops under its control.
But despite this, the project continues to develop and, as it became known, this very development will only accelerate in the near future. The search giant has decided to release fresh updates to the system every four weeks – just as it does with Chrome, writes Engadget.
It is also reported that Google will skip the M95 update for Chrome OS, going straight to the M96. Thus, the IT giant wants to “synchronize” the OS and the browser.
The innovation will come into force very soon – approximately in the fourth quarter of 2021.
